i don't know if anyone knows about this
firefox addon called
stealthy, i found out about it just yesterday. there's also a version for
chrome. it basically sets up a fast manual proxy for whatever country you choose, and it's very easy to use.
internet explorer users - my condolences..
click here to download and install firefox.
to install stealthy on your browser:
for firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/stealthy/
for chrome:
http://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ieaebnkibonmpbhdaanjkmedikadnoje
after you install it on firefox you'll need to restart your browser to be able to use it, on chrome it didn't ask me to restart the browser, and opened the preference window. after you install it, an icon will appear on the upper right corner of your browser [or left, depends on the language of your browser]. when it's red - stealthy is disabled, and when it's green - stealthy is enabled. you can turn it on/off with a click.
before using stealthy, you'll need to configure it, in firefox click on the arrow next to the stealthy icon, then click on
configure to open the preference window.
in chrome go to settings or copy this into the address bar
chrome://settings/browser then click on
extensions, find stealthy and click on
options to open a preference window.
in
select the kind of use ignore the first option, the second option set ups a proxy from the united states, and the third lets you type in the name of the country [chrome] or country code [firefox] you want to pretend you're surfing from.
click here for a list of country codes:
